You're not alone if you're spending a lot of your lockdown time watching TV. A study has revealed that people are glued to the tele for up to 34 per cent of their day - and who can blame us? The choice of box sets has never been better.

From over the past ten years including Game of Thrones to Friends, here and some of the most epic small screen moments from the Uswitch.com findings that we've all been talking about and going square eyed for.

Nick Baker, the broadband expert at Uswitch, commented: “Over the past year, we have had more time than ever to watch television, with it providing joy and escapism for many of us out there.



“From our Index, we wanted to bring to light the shows that have been hailed as the best of all time. 

"Whether you want a show that’s going to give you a satisfying ending, or you’re still mourning the loss of some of your favourite TV characters - our research will make sure the next boxset you watch is worth it.”

The most talked-about TV moment of all time was Will being found alive in the Upside Down in Stranger Things with more than 29,000 average searches a month on Google.

In second place, it was the 'masterpiece' Battle of the Bastards in Game of Thrones where Sansa Stark defeats Ramsey. 

Hank dying in Breaking Bad left fans in pieces at number three, over in Friends the gang finding out about Chandler and Monica's love affair was one of the highest episodes on IMDb, while the shock of Sherlock dying came in at number five.
