Lynette Clarke, a prolific stage actor currently starring in two smash hit TV series, has suddenly passed away.

News of Clarke’s death was shared by It’s A Sin's casting director Andy Pryor, who described Clarke as a 'lovely, lovely woman.'

One of the show's leading stars, Callum Scott Howells, also paid tribute to the late actor on social media, saying: 'I'm completely shook by this news today.'

'I spent a really special day with Lynette and we told each other stories and laughed the whole way through.'

He added: 'The kindest and most beautiful soul. Sending all my love to Lynette's family and loved ones.'

Other stars, such as Omari Douglas and Nathaniel Curtis, also paid tribute to the late Ms. Clarke:

Lynette Clarke was well-known for her performances in stage productions such as The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night Time and Karangula, the latter of which earned her an Off West End Theatre Award in 2017.

She also played parts in TV shows such as Top Boy, The Bill, My Hero and Harley Street.

The late Ms. Clarke's cause of death is currently unknown.

It's a Sin is a mini-series currently airing on Channel 4 that tells the story of a group of young people in the LGBT+ community in 1981 England.

Meanwhile, Bridgerton is a Netflix adaptation of Julia Quinn's romance-drama novels, which are set in the competitive world of Regency-era London's 'ton'.

Both of these series are gaining a huge following and proving to be very popular viewing, and hopefully both shows will expose audiences to Lynette Clarke's acting talent.
