IRELAND

Two new walk-in Covid-19 testing centres for people who do not have symptoms of the virus will open in Cork and Westmeath.

The centre In Cork will be located at Randal Óg GAA Club in Dunmanway. It will be open from Wednesday 14th April until Tuesday 20th April between 9am and 5pm.

The Westmeath centre will open at St Loman's Hospital Campus in Mullingar, and will also be open from Wednesday 14th April until Tuesday 20th April between 9am and 5pm.

People can use the free, walk-in testing services if they do not have symptoms but would like to be tested, have not tested positive for Covid-19 in the past six months, live within 5km of the test centre, and are aged 16 or over.

People are advised to bring photo ID with them and to provide a telephone number for results.

The walk-in testing will operate alongside the existing testing in these centres where people with symptoms and close contacts of confirmed cases of Covid-19 are referred by GPs.
