Gardaí investigating the murder of a 17-year-old boy in Drogheda in January 2020 have arrested three men.

The arrests were made following searches in Dublin today.

The men, aged in their 20s, 40s and 50s, are being detained at a number of Dublin garda stations.

Legislation to allow children who have died as a result of murder or manslaughter to be publicly named is expected to come into force later this week.
